UPDATE FROM NFHS:
"It is now necessary for spirit coaches to take the first course (same as all sports' coaches) to officially get into the system and start with the Sport Coaches Certification program. That is the "Fundamentals of Coaching" class offered online.
After that course they will be able to get into the program and tell it that they have taken the SPM and the Cheer & Dance Coaching Principles classes. Those two courses will take the place of a sport-specific course for the first level of the certification program. Additionally, if you are current with your AACCA class, that information will also be credited to your name.
The spirit classes have not been transferred and will not be until the coaches begin the process of taking the courses required for the NFHS Coaches Certification program."
